Music Partners Academy is designed to fill in the gaps left by our schools. We want to teach children the joy of making music and to give them the advantages that come with learning to read music and play a musical instrument (including voice). As you know, not only are our souls enlarged by and through music, but we are surrounded and inundated by music in our daily lives. We work to music; we worship to music; we dance to music; we study to music: we drive to music; we shop to music; we watch movies, television, video games, commercials, and cartoons to music.

Mastering a musical instrument takes many years of study and diligent practice. Studying music requires intense concentration, self-discipline, and self-mastery. Performing music with other musicians requires sensitivity, empathy, and a dedication to the ultimate outcome.

Whether a music student ever becomes a professional musician, composer, arranger, or such; he/she develops useful and positive character traits that any employer would love to find in an employee. In fact, 90% of doctors and dentists have learned to play a musical instrument. The long-term commitment and determination required to become a medical professional is the same found in musicians.

Teamwork is also essential in performing music. At Music Partners Academy, we teach in small groups from the very beginning so as to instill the idea of working closely together and listening to each other. Music also provides a social outlet that really might be more effective for a musically intelligent student than any other form of communication.
