Suede Blue
SUEDE BLUE
Suede Blue doubles as a prime steak house and a seafood spot. The setting welcomes guests with its rustic upscale charm and the menu that is filled with signature specialties blending artistic presentations and quality ingredients. Terrific starters include the Macadamia crusted brie and the favorite Steakhouse Nachos, which are Suede Blue potato chips topped with roasted tenderloin and peppercorn sauce. Great salads showcase the seared ahi tuna salad served with Napa cabbage and udon noodles, mandarin oranges, peanuts and crisp won ton strips, tossed in miso chili soy peanut vinaigrette. The honey nut crusted filet of salmon glistens in a champagne sauce and is a perfect match for the scallion whipped potatoes. Chipotle honey glazed swordfish topped with grilled pineapple mango salsa and jalapeno crème fresh on creamy coconut curry risotto is as delicious as it sounds. And the picture perfect multi-level prawn cocktail is quite a visual treat. But it’s the fresh seafood tower that is a true feast for the eyes. Entice your to your taste buds with the Hawaiian rib eye marinated in pineapple teriyaki or the prime certified Angus New York strip, filet mignon, or rib eye. The handsome bar and the front patio are great places to enjoy happy hour each Mon- Fri when you can sip and savor from 4-7 with $5 appetizers and drink specials. Suede Blue is also available for private parties. The restaurant is open for lunch Monday –Friday and dinner is served nightly.

The menu here has such a great selection of meat and seafood but the seared ahi tuna salad served with Napa cabbage and udon noodles, mandarin oranges and wonton strips seems to be my "go to" dish quite often. Although, I do request some extra dressing and I can't get enough of their wonderful bread!!!

I tasted their food for the first time this weekend at the Splash event in Roseville. Their homemade potato chips and steak were to die for. I can wait to have a full meal there.

This place has a great happy hour! Plenty of appetizers and drinks to choose from for $4. Fun bar atmosphere, and nice sit down restaurant.
