Until I moved from Southern California, (a city boy), to Northern California, (Auburn), I knew very little, actually, next to nothing, about how to use, what to buy, etc., re:chain saws, weedwackers, leaf blowers, etc.
I, fortunately, discovered Sierra Saw---the owner, and the "knowledgable" women who help run the business. As I have now been there "numerous" times, and have since purchased a weedwacker and a leaf blower, I can honestly say everyone there has been extremely helpful----and patient with me re: "teaching" me how to properly use and maintain my new equipment. I thought for sure they would have the right to laugh at my lack of knowledge----but, that has never happened.
I had to return to the store three or four times, because of my ineptness with the weedwacker, and each time one of the women, whoever waited on me, took extra time and care to help me with my various problems.
When I eventually purchased the leaf blower, it took a time for the order to arrive, as I chose one that was not in stock, so the owner, Wally, was kind enough to loan me one, as I had "tons" of leaves on the driveway of my recently acquired new home---; now, how many people would do that---particurlarlly for someone new to the community---!
My next purchase will be a chain saw, and I've already taken much of their time, having them explain which one might be best for my purposes, how they run, how to "properly" use them, etc.
ALL of the people who work there are absolutely GREAT at caring for their customers----I know---I'm one for life----.
